What I Laid Down, What I Lifted Up

I sat on the cold tile of the bathroom floor and sobbed, "No, no, no..."
And then God said, "I have a better 'yes' in mind."

I'm so grateful and honored that Kaylie Hodges is granting me the blessing of sharing this piece of my story of faith as part of her "Be Salty" God-brag blog project. You'll love Kaylie's sweet site and her "Adventures in Happily Ever After."

In particular, I encourage you to check out Kaylie's posts "How Do You Read Your Bible?" and "How To Read Your Bible" for inspiration and guidance on really digging into the Word of God rather than just letting your eyes run over the print on the page. Which I know about from all-too-much personal experience.

Thank you, Kaylie, for letting me take part in your salty series. I'm so humbled and happy to be your guest today!

I'd love to hear from you. What do you think? What's on your mind? Did you learn anything from this study that you didn't know to begin with? Did it make any sense? Tell me...I really want to know.
